In May/June German lifestyle magazine Ma Vie featured Coconut Bowls.
"Oil, milk, water and tender meat - all delicious things that give coconuts out of their hard shells once they are opened. But what happens after the harvest with the pretty shell? It is burned as waste. So far. Since January 2016, "Coconut Bowls" have been collecting the shells from coconut plantations, before they can develop harmful fumes in the combustion process, in order to create wonderful ecological bowls. In two workshops in Vietnam and Indonesia, locals clean the alleged waste into unique pieces. Polished only with pure coconut oil and with a capacity of approx. 500-600 ml the dishes are great for muesli and soups. Approximately 12 euros."
